Usually I don’t even read mails that state YOU WON! Lucky me that Samsung actually called me on the phone to make sure I got the email. Yesterday Samsung held a PR event for its new GALAXY Note 10.1 tablet together with the network Xing (German LinkedIn competitor). Out of 4.000 participants about 50 have won one of those.

And I was one of the lucky few.

What can I say. I have been a Samsung fanboy for quite a while now and I prefer Android to iOS. Who else should win such a tablet?

The event was held in a beautiful location in the center of Frankfurt. My first impressions:

The Galaxy Note 10.1 appears valuable and shiny. No plastic bullshit. Everything runs very smooth on its quad core processor.

I am really impressed with the S-Pen. I used pens before on a tablet but its pointier than most and works very nice. Hand writing is well recognized and it feels natural. But if you prefer to use your fingers you can of course do this too.

Let’s see what this little baby will be like after spending a few more days.

My first impressions though: really cool!
